ÒWe Have Been Promised A
Seed Time And A HarvestÓ
Some of our family live and farm in SouthWest Kansas. On the
left one of their trucks is unloading. Occasionally the harvest is
unusually bountiful, the elevators Þll up and the grain must be
temporally stored on the ground, then later itÕs transported out.
Lesson! Life does not bounce us from one success to another.
God never promised us that. Nor did He promise to solve all our
problems, nor give an answer to every question. But, God did
promised us this, Òthere will always be a seed time and a
harvest:.
Our responsibility is limited, but vital. Seed must be planted. Our
job is to cultivate the soil, and nurture its growth. We canÕt force
growth. GodÕs design is that the seed must Þrst die before it can
bring forth life. God, in His wisdom, calls us to assist in the
process, but itÕs God who gives the increase.
